TIM Special Issue

         TIM Special ISSUE

Authors of an accepted, registered, and presented paper at MeMeA 2020 are eligible to submit a technically extended version of their paper to the MeMeA 2020 Special Issue in the IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement (TIM). Other than following the submission guide below, please especially ensure that the paper meets the scope requirements of TIM.

Special Issue manuscripts may ONLY be uploaded in the period of September 13 - 26, 2020.

Please DO NOT try to submit your papers before this date, because the MeMeA Special Issue folder in Allentrack will not be available.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT SCOPE

Every year, a portion of submitted papers to the MeMeA special issue in TIM are rejected immediately, without going to review, because they do not frame their writing in the context of Instrumentation and Measurement. To avoid this happening to your paper, please follow in details the Scope information of TIM explained here. We also suggest that you read the following article, especially its “TIM Guidelines for Medical Related Papers” section, which can guide the authors about what TIM expects from a medical related paper:

S. Shirmohammadi, K. Barbé, D. Grimaldi, S. Rapuano, and S. Grassini “Instrumentation and Measurement in Medical, Biomedical, and Healthcare Systems”, IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Magazine, Vol. 19, No. 5, October 2016, pp. 6-12.

DOI: 10.1109/MIM.2016.7579063

MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION GUIDE

Submission is done through TIM's manuscript processing system. Please carefully follow all instructions on TIM's Special Issue page under "Paper Submission Instructions".
